Cardinal Connections is a Safe Schools Healthy Students Initiative funded by the United States Departments of Education, Health and Human Services and Justice.  The keystone of this initiative is the community partners who share a common vision for a tri-state region that supports youth development.

There are six elements to this initiative. None of the elements can be accomplished by any single partner, regardless of the resources expended. each element is a worthy undertaking for any community, but focusing on any one of the elements would fall short of supporting the whole child. The elements are intertwined to the extent that it is difficult to separate them into distinct entities.  As you navigate through hyperlinks.  They are notes in italicized, colored that is underlined.  By clicking on the underlined word, you can leave the page you are currently reading to learn more about that subject as it related to another element or activity with the initiative.

 This website is designed to provide the public with a communications tool.  There is a tab at the top of the page that links the reader to:
