Community Schools provides a wide range of resources to support mental wellness
among students and school personnel.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) has been adopted by the district as the framework
around which all other school initiatives are organized. The social
emotional skill training includes self-awareness, self-management, social
awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. It is
our goal to maximize both intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence
in students so that they will be successful, productive, and healthy citizens
of our community.
Student
Assistance Teams (SAT) are clinical teams made up of school professionals
and student's families who design interventions to assist students with difficulties
in school. Reasons for referral include (but are not limited to) behavioral
issues, academic concerns, drugs or alcohol use, or social issues. Click here to learn more about SAT
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a benefit to district employees to assist
personnel in dealing with personal problems that may have a negative impact on
their work or their emotional health.
